American independence day was the inspiration behind this necklace. The 3 prominent colours were hard to team together as they are all strong in their own right. I chose the lapis lazuli coins to be prominent for the silhouette they create, with coral rondelles and stick biwa freshwater pearls creating the detail.
All stones are individually hand knotted with silk thread and fasten with a toggle fastener.
